Weber Q stainless steel Grate & Flat Plate — Q1, Q2 & Q3 Series
Your Weber Q only cooks as well as the surface food sits on. The original stainless steel grate works fine out of the box, but after a few seasons the coating wears, rust creeps in, and that even sear you used to get starts to fade. This is a like-for-like replacement built to Weber Q geometry, so it drops straight in and brings the cooking surface back to factory performance.
Pick the surface that suits how you cook:
Grill grate. The ribbed surface you know. Fat drains away between the bars, you get proper char lines, and it's made for steak, snags, chops, and anything you want a sear on.
Flat plate. A solid hotplate surface for everything that falls through a grate eggs, pancakes, fried rice, sliced veg, seafood, halloumi, smash burgers. One clean surface, edge to edge.
On Q2 and Q3 models the cooking area takes two halves, so you can run a grill grate on one side and a flat plate on the other, sear and fry at the same time, no swapping mid-cook.
Heavy cast iron holds heat hard and spreads it evenly, so there's no thin spot that runs cold. It sits flush in the BBQ, no tools needed, and lifts out for cleaning in seconds.
